qualifications
- have a passion for lighting and understand its crucial role in architectural design
- hold a higher degree in lighting design or architecture
- have experience in lighting design throughout all project phases (concept – execution)
- proficiently use AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe suite
- can perform lighting calculations using Dialux software
- are familiar with basic lighting design standards
- possess a strong sense of aesthetics
- creatively seek solutions, both at the conceptual stage and when facing challenges
- enjoy working in a team
- can efficiently manage your own time and the tasks of the team working on the project you lead
- exhibit independence and responsibility as your strengths
performing tasks
- managing the complete documentation of lighting projects – all stages of the design process
- creating lighting project concepts independently
- collaborating on lighting project concepts
- preparing documentation in compliance with current technical and building regulations
- providing author’s supervision on construction sites
